DJ’s like Jesse Saunders didn’t know they were creating a new style, they were just playing great records. In the beginning it stayed underground.The sound of Chicago. But this could not last for long. Something that amazing could not stay underground for long. Jesse Suanders was the man that took the whole thing into the mainstream. He created the first House hit record that took the world by storm. The tune was called ”Love Can’t Turn Around”

Today Jesse Saunders has a new record for Dancebeat new label SAFE.

With this release Jesse forms an incredible fusion with US House vocal style and European techno. For those of you that don’t know, JESSE SAUNDERS is the guy who originated the world-wide musical phenomenon known as House Music. For reference to this fact check out the book ”WHAT KIND OF HOUSE PARTY IS THIS” by Jonathan Fleming (MIY, c1984).

Jesse has been featured speaker/moderator at various international seminars including the Winter Music Conference (Miami), New Music Seminar, MIDEM (France), Amsterdam Dance Event (Holland), PopKomm (Germany) and have been the featured subject in numerous interviews on television including ABC, MTV and Viva Europe, radio stations all over the world on the subject of House Music and it’s origin.

Jesse has also written his own book on the subject "HOUSE MUSIC THE REAL STORY". Because he was there at the very beginning and has created some of the genre finest moments he is ideally placed to record the history of House.

I played in Los Angeles in front of 10,000 people at theSports Arena. This was the kickoff for the Y2K Tour, which features the release of my new album The Real Story. I'm attaching a promo photo which was taken during the New Years event at the Sports Arena. I did a special Y2K Intro which will be featured on the tour. This is how it unfolded:

As we come to the end of the 20th Century we must take stock of a period that brought more progress than any other; telephones, cell phones, pagers, faxes, television, motion pictures, automobiles, airplanes, wireless radio, computers and the ultimate form of global communication...The INTERNET! It is because of the latter 2 that our very existance could cease to be...life as we know it could end right here, right now!

What brave souls we all are to be gathered together to witness the dawn of the new MILLENIUM. We could be taking our last breath, dancing our last dance, feeling our last emotion and thinking our last thought... Right here, right now!

The only thing that can save us is the MUSIC! Music has been there to>save mankind since the beginning of time. Our beloved HOUSE MUSIC was born in JANUARY of 1984. Our time is measured in BH and AH. That's Before House and After house. It could all end right here, right now!
